The Mc Fadden's

This Scott and his family....
I work with Scott and he asked to have some portraits done of his family.  I was more than happy to do so.  The day of the shoot, we get to our planned meeting location and the wind is blowing so hard, that any pictures with the women were out of the question at the Hendersonville Park.  I try to get a couple shots by the lake under some trees for some coverage, but not luck.  So we quickly headed over to Rock Castle and things seem to flow better there.  I got some wonderful shots of Scott's son Keiran and his daughter Kiley.   His family was just wonderful and I had a great time taking their pictures, once we got the hang of finding areas not in the wind....

Here are a few from that session.....

The Blair's

This is the brand new family...the Blair's.
Ms. Heather and Charlie just recently got married and combined their wonderful families into one.
I was here to photograph the wonderful new family.  I have know Ms. Heather, as my daughter knows here, for a few years now.  She is in charge of the day care at Watt Hardison elementary.
Her daughter Kathy, and my daughter Cassie, have been friends since then.  So I truly enjoyed taking the pictures for their new start at life together.

Congratulations to them both!!!

Collier Rd.

I was on my way home from recent family session just loved the small farms and barns I saw.
Also tried my hand at a HDR photo.  The last shot is an example of HDR.
So I stopped my car, in the middle of the road, and took a few pictures of this rural area.  And the beautiful sunset didn't hurt either...

The Holcombe Family

I got to go out to one of the highest spots in Gallantin to photograph this family.
The Holcombe's were great.  They had such wonderful surroundings, that I was able to capture the family in all of fall's flavor!   What a great selection of images to choose from...
Here are a few  of my favorites.

Nashville Ghost Tours

My family and I recently took a Haunted Ghost tour of downtown Nashville.  My husband and I had taken one in Charleston,SC and really enjoyed it.  The one in Nashville does not disappoint.  On a walking tour, you learn several things about the city, such as there are two bodies entombed at the State Capital, the architect and foreman of the State Capital. And these two men really didn't get along in the first place so now they are not getting along in the after life.....

Whether you believe in ghost or not, these tours are a great remnider of the history that built Nashville.

Here are a few shots from that night......
ps...I was told that several orbs follow the tour guide and can be seen in many pictures...I am not sure but I think I see some.  Tell me what you think?

The George Family

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the George family for their fall family photos.
I have to say, it was a real pleasure working with this family.  The two girls alone made the day a treat. Here are a few from that session.
